The Grand Stand Prediction
With the first round of Group B producing two draws, all 4 teams go into the second round with a solitary point and an equal chance of qualification into the next round. Zambia go into the fixture with Tunisia knowing that they are a team capable of producing a lot more than what their clash against DR Congo suggested. The Bullets will look towards the likes of Given Singuluma, who scored last time out, to produce an inspiring performance, while goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene will also be hoping for a more assured showing in goals, after a shaky start in his side’s opener. Tactically, it’s Honour Janza who must now show his worth through his squad selection and intelligent substitution. The Zambia coach appeared to lack a plan B in the last fixture, so it will be interesting to see what his tactical brain will produce tonight.
For Tunisia, organisation is key. They will consider themselves worthy of a spot in the knockout stages and must produce a performance fitting for that spot. Goal scorer in the last game Mohamed Manser will be looking to add to his tally, while the attacking talent around him will also be looking to get in on the act. Coach Leekens will have had his troops charged up for this one, so expect a strong, solid showing by the Tunisians.
If both teams see this as a must win game, as they should, it should be a fixture packed with chances, It will be a case of which side capitalizes on their chances the most. Tactically, it will be interesting to see how Leekens and Aguas can inspire their charges to victory and one foot in the next round.
