If overlapping fullbacks were the in thing during the last two football cycles, the attack minded yet defensively sound fullback is making a return in a big way; we have seen many gaffers look to tweak tactics during the game and move a fullback into a three-man defence and look to open the game up with more ball-playing defenders that have the attacking acumen to add quality to the side. Kgosi is every bit the Mzansi answer to that trend, a young left fullback with a level of maturity that belies his years and the experience of a more seasoned footballer. Blessed with great pace and balance, Kgosi adds value to the defensive end with his great positional play an anticipation on and off the ball; the Capital City born lad balances his game with instinctive offensive play that showcases his ability on the ball, the fact that he packs a good free kick makes him even more of an asset offensively. Mzansi Diski has been blessed with a conveyor belt of classy left fullbacks in the last few generations, one would not be remiss to think that Kgosi Ntlhe is destined to own that position for the next two football cycles; with bags of potential and the mental aptitude to boot, Kgosi is definitely a player to watch out for.
