The Grand Stand View

A thriving France side is almost always fully fitted with at least one industrious midfield general that dictates the flow of the game on both sides of the ball, Paul Pogba seems to be the man tasked with being “that guy” for this generation of Les Blues players. A natural born playmaker who is well versed in the art of playing on both sides of the ball, Pogba could hold the key to any success France may have; any side the he is in seems to play much better with him fit & firing.

A physically imposing footballer with brilliant match reading abilities and the technical skills to execute what he sees very well, Pogba is a marvel to watch when he is in the heart of the pitch, making grown men look like his peers as he looks to impose himself on the game. An assist machine of note, the midfield general will look to use make use of his great passing skills to set-up his attacking teammates, who can score goals when they get good service regularly.

The hopes of the nation can be said to be on the shoulders of a young man that seems to thrive off being placed in a situation where he has to react and show his mantle; the pressure of being the pivotal cog in a side that is expected to do well will drive Paul Pogba on to put on a great show in his home country. The speculation regarding his club future may also serve as increased incentive to show his class for any scouts and managers who may be watching; yet the biggest incentive will be to prove to some doubters, if they remain, that he deserves to be spoken of amongst the best in the game today.
